Dishes to try out on World Pasta Day

It’s one of the world’s most popular (and most delicious!) staples, and on October 25th pasta will be celebrated across the globe as part of World Pasta Day.

Slow-Roasted Tomatoes and Basil Gnocchi

Now, the dish has morphed into an albeit creamier variation containing double cream and nutmeg. And it’s this version that sets customers’ hearts ablaze in restaurants across the globe.

Scallop Linguine

Linguine (meaning little tongues in Italian) is a well-loved pasta for those looking for a pasta that is slightly wider than spaghetti but a little thinner than fettuccine.

Its a pasta dish most commonly coupled with seafood and is best associated with restaurants placed on the coastlines of Italy.

Scallops are a perfect addition to linguine because they can be quickly seared and added to the fresh yet creamy dish in an instant.

Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli

Ravioli is one of the world’s oldest known pastas and there’s a reason for its long-running popularity. The pillow-shaped pasta can be packed with a range of fillings, but its most authentic and commonly used filling is Ricotta.

Spinach is a great leafy green to pair with the ricotta as it adds a distinct flavour and complements the authentic Italian dish well and is just one of the reasons why it’s a great pasta dish to serve in your restaurant on World Pasta Day.
